My passion for digital marketing came much later in life after I had already been working for 5 years and realized the huge growth/potential for e-commerce. Already selling socks online through various platforms and never one to shy away from a challenge I decided to enroll myself in the E-business & Web marketing program at the University of Toronto.

Most of my previous marketing experience has been hand-ons guerrilla style with little or no help in terms of resources. This made me a much more determined and effective marketer. However, social media marketing really interests me because it is dynamic and presents unique opportunities/challenges with relevance to new technologies. Let's face it nowadays just about everyone has smartphone which is why things like QR codes, proximity marketing, mobile payment processing, and new social networking sites like Pintrest and Foursquare are all on the rise.

Trying to make sense of it all....

"I’ve been working with Sid for over half a decade now and can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and his work ethic reflects that. While working here he has had many roles but his willingness to accept new challenges and positive attitude has made him a pleasure to work with. The work he has done for us has been instrumental in helping liquidate our excess inventory, reach new customers, keep existing one’s happy, and build our brand. His ability to work independently and complete tasks (especially given a limited amount of resources) would make him an asset to any company. I am glad to see his hard work in building our e-commerce business is finally paying off, we see double digit increases in growth each year."
